Do you remember the last time you stood on the edge of a cliff, heart pounding, knowing you had to take that leap of faith?

That's exactly how I felt when I started my startup journey. I was a first-time founder with no idea what I was doing just a burning desire to fill a gap in the market.

With sleepless nights, weekends lost, evenings melting into mornings, and precious family moments sacrificed. I was consumed by my dream, often lost in my own world, disconnected from the social life I once knew. It was as if I was on a deserted island, my only companions being my thoughts and a hunger to make this work.

Months passed by, and I realized I needed a plan. A roadmap to navigate this uncharted territory. So, I broke it down into stages, like a treasure map guiding me to success:

  • Write Everything Down: Ideas, thoughts, sparks of inspiration all in my trusty notebook.
  • One Thing at a Time: Laser-focused on each task, no distractions allowed.
  • Build the Framework: A solid structure to weather any storm.
Initiate New Ideas: Chased inspiration, turning every idea into a game-changer.
  • Slow and Steady: No shortcuts. Every small step was a victory.

This is how I was able to make things work for me. It's a great place to start.

Pro tip

Consistently work when others relax, play, party, or chase someone else's dream. Dedicate yourself to your vision and goals, and watch how the universe aligns in your favour.
